The help I've received from Philip has been great, for both myself and my dog. I have a two year old maltipoo who was displaying bad behaviour and basically ruling the roost at home. Philip spent an evening with us and explained to me why Teddy was behaving the way he was. He gave me valuable tips on how to overcome this behaviour and things have been improving ever since. Working with Philip was a complete game-changer for us at home! Right from the start, he brought a calm and steady presence that really helped my 7-month-old husky pup, Yogi, who was always nervous and barking a lot. Philip was incredibly patient with Yogi, and in just a few hours, I could already see a huge difference. Rolo was my mother’s dog, they lived in a rural place. When we took him on after she became ill, he was nervous, reactive and extremely vocal. After months of barking we thought he might never adapt to life with our family. One day I googled ‘dog whisperer Ireland’ and Philip Alain came up, well that’s the truth. Philip could see straight away that Rolo had nowhere to be in our house, no den or safe place, no base of Rolo operations. This left him feeling vulnerable all the time, constantly on edge. Philip introduced the crate and after a short time Rolo felt secure enough to finally switch off and go to sleep. Philip explained that Rolo will need phases of down time in his crate, his den, to give him the deep rest he has lacked the past five years.Philip’s approach is from behind the eyes of the animal. His work is instinctive, effective, remarkable.His methods are transparent (you stay with the dog, he takes videos of the training and sends them on to you for reference) and his care and guidance is thorough, promising lifelong loyalty and support, which is pretty incredible.I am grateful to have this understanding of our dog, and very glad for a home with some harmony to it, following the program Philip came up with. We contacted Philip about two months ago because our 1.5-year-old Yorkshire terrier, Murphy, had become very reactive and territorial. To say Philip is a miracle worker is an understatement. Our 4 year old retriever Harley had developed pretty bad anxiety and whenever we turned the key of the house to leave, he would bark himself to exhaustion which was causing issues for our immediate neighbours and in turn creating a stressful atmosphere in our household. We were at breaking point and afraid to leave him on his own for any length of time in case we would have to deal with another uncomfortable encounter with our neighbour.I contacted Philip in desperation and straight away he put me at ease and assured me that the problem was fixable without resorting to any drastic measures. I couldn’t believe how quickly the training worked! We literally had a different dog overnight. We now have a dog that comfortably sleeps while we are away and have boundaries in place to help him feel safe. I feel like I hardly had to do anything , Philip connected with the situation and dog so well that the hard work was done before he left.Life is honestly so much easier and we’ve a beautiful happy and content dog which was the most important thing to us from the start. I would highly recommended this service and the calmness it has brought to our household has been worth every single cent.Thanks so much again Philip 🐶

Couldn’t recommend Philip enough I have a 1 year old female German shepherd who was having some bad behaviour in the house and pulling on the lead. Philip came out to my house and taught me how to crate train her, get her to stop pulling on the lead and how to train her by feeding from my hand ! It’s great to get the guidance ! You can watch as many videos as you like but if your like me and need someone to physically show you what’s possible for your dog you need Philip in your life ! I should have started sooner , thanks Philip for all of your help in just a one day session !

Philip was a great help! We reached out when we weren't sure how to support our border terrier, Gordie. He went through a big move to a new country and then a new estate and was having a hard time with some reactivity. We live close to lots of kids who are really interested in him, so we wanted to get some tools to help us prevent any bad behaviour.Philip helped us with some practical tools and exercises to keep our dog engaged and to build better communication. It was also really helpful to have him come into our home, as Gordie was stressed out about strangers entering our house.He stayed with us a couple hours and walked through our neighbourhood, addressing different triggers with Gordie and showing us how to work through them. Most importantly, he reminded us that Gordie's a dog and is going to do dog things--so it's up to us to set the environment to help him best succeed, but to also have realistic expectations regarding our pup. Would recommend him to anyone!

I can't thank Phillip enough for all his help with our sheepdog pup Freddie. Within 2 minutes of meeting our pup he had full control. We learnt lots of training tips and how to keep Freddies attention. Before we were struggling to get out on several walks every day to burn off some of his energy. We can now use just the area around our home to do this. Phillip has sent on training videos, voice notes and offers support after the training. I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their dogs.

Phillip was excellent when he came to train our 9 week old Dobermann. Marcus was struggling with separation anxiety and having trouble sleeping through the day. Phillip introduced ways for us to try and relieve this anxiety and tiredness for our dog and we have never looked back since! Marcus is now 5 months and thriving! We are so grateful for Philip's help and guidance with our 16 month old male GSD 'Bear'. He was becoming more and more reactivate to every stimulus in his environment from vans, bikes, our poor postman, and people walking past our road side front wall/fence. Our other female GSD Riley was also getting barked+++ at by Bear constantly - so we needed HELP.I contacted Philip and he called to our house in Co. Roscommon to assess Bear and work with him.From Philip's teaching we now realise that a large garden space, with few boundaries (apart from it's fence) is not good for Bear or any dogs mental or physical well-being long term. Bear was 'switched on' high alert all day.Philip created a specific plan for Bear, which we now follow. Now Bear is more focused and has structure in his day. Already we can see this routine is working for Bear and he's becoming a calmer dog.We would definitely recommend Philip's teaching methods and guidance to anyone who needs help with their dog.
